Texture is MEDIUM - Generally between 12 - 18mm in size, cracked gravel is a very popular feature for any garden and a nice alternative to mulch or woodchips. Being split/cracked it tends to be a little more stable on slight inclines as opposed to standard pea gravels that can roll away. The fact that it only requires a once off installation, a thinner layer for coverage, and only occasional top ups to freshen the look up, it is a winner for a lot of people including ourselves. We suggest a layer of weed mat underneath to avoid continual sinking into the soil below.
INFO : Your delivery comes in a Tip Truck and is typically dumped on your Verge or the Crossover of your driveway. If you have another spot in mind and we are able to tip safely, this is also an option - (Our liability stops at the kerb). We suggest placing a tarp, sheet, or plastic down on any paved, concrete or limestone surfaces to avoid staining as we take no responsibility for this. If on the day of delivery any of these options are not available, a suitable place will be determined by us.
